ABS SENSOR

1. ABS sensor classification:

ABS sensors can be divided into two categories: magnetoelectric and electronic Holzer.

2. The introduction of the core components:

2.1. magnetoelectric ABS sensors are mainly made up of enameled wire, permanent magnet and magnetic core.
2.2. the electronic Holzer type ABS sensor is mainly composed of Holzer components and permanent magnets.

3. Introduction of the principle of work:

The ABS sensor is installed on the front left, front right, rear left and rear right hubs of the automobile respectively. The wheel rotation drives the gear ring to rotate. The speed change of the wheel is transformed into the change of voltage and frequency signal, which is supplied to the ECU to collect. The ECU can read the four sensor signals to know the speed state of the four wheels in an emergency. When braking is detected that a wheel speed is lower than other wheels, the computer will make a judgment that the wheel has been locked, and then notify the solenoid valve that controls the wheel to quickly reduce the braking hydraulic pressure until the lock disappears, to prevent the wheel from locking, causing side slip, rollover and other accidents.

4. Introduction of failure:

4.1. when the ABS sensor is damaged, there will be a fault warning light indication on the car dashboard.
4.2. using computer detection, there will be ABS sensor failure code.
4.3. when the ABS sensor fails, it will not affect normal driving, but it will be saved during emergency braking. Safety risks need to be dealt with in a timely manner.
